Normally I stay clear of vampire builds, due to their drawbacks. However with the magicka nightblade’s kit, going with vampirism seemed to be a no-brainer. Your main spammable brings in massive heals, whilst the sustain is covered by Incapacitating Strike’s passive bonus and Siphoning Attacks.
The only notable downside to the build, is that most the heavy hitting abilities are single-target. This is generally not an issue, but I know it can be a deal breaker for some people. Looking at templar mains 😉.
This build is best suited for trials or organized dungeon groups. Due to the single-target focus, I wouldn’t really recommend it for dungeon PUGs. Running with two single-target focused DPS players, can be a nightmare.
Pros:
• Ridiculous single-target damage. • A powerful execute ability. • Amazing self-heals. • Ranged combat. |
Cons:
• Weak AoE damage. • No burst heal. |

During the execute phase, proc Swallow Soul every 10 seconds to keep your healing up.
Fire off Merciless Resolve every 5 light attacks, when you’re in the damage phase.
Hit Incapacitating Strike whenever you can, during the damage and execute phases.
Make sure to weave light attacks in between every skill. This is essential for the build’s performance, due to the selected skills and gear.
Passives
All the RED passives are optional, but highly recommended. They don’t improve the performance of the build, in terms of combat. But when it comes to quality of life, they can be a real blessing.
